My son is three and a half and Im just curious how many of you parents put your kids in head start? Or did you wait for pre school or kindergarten? If you didnt, did it affect how they were in preK or kindergarten? He already knows his colors, shapes, letters, counts to 40 and much more, but Im just curious if I should wait until he goes to preK or what. My son has never been in daycare, so I dont really know how hed handle it all. Im not sure if I should put him in daycare for an hour here and there to see how he is being left alone, or jump right into a program so he can get a sense of a structured class and can learn more? Hes my first so Im just trying to figure out whatll be the best for him, and to see how it worked out with other parents out there. Thank you.
