My son often asks me, Daddy, who is your best friend? I usually always respond with, You are! But as I sit here tonight and think about this, I realize that God is my best friend, now let me tell you why: I am grateful that God has placed the people in my life that he has. Ken Ashley my father, for always having an attentive ear for all my complaints, my mother, Selena Ashley for always being there for me when I need her the most. My sister, Tara Ashley Sosebee, for always giving me the female perspective in life when I need it. My Brother, Chad Ashley, for being the voice of reason through all my stupid decisions and being a true friend and pulling me up when I am down. My Wife, Brandi Parson Ashley for loving me through all my faults and always encouraging my dreams and ambitions. My niece, Hailey Madison Sosebee for being the child that helped me learn how to truly raise a child, and showing me how big my shoulders can be when she needs to cry. Debbie Parson and Ronald for having my wife and allowing her to be in my life. Tyler Parson and Samantha Parson for being there to partake in shenanigans. I am truly bless for the family that God has provided for me. I think God everyday that you are all part of my life. I love you all and will always have your back, like you have had mine.
