My teacher (Mr. John Carlo Velasco) told me about his passion in writing poems and i have read one of his poems. I find it very interesting and I wonder how he come up with that idea. I guess its entitled DAHONG LAYA and its all about the City of Bogo.It won an award here in Bogo 1st place which inspired me to make mine too. Although we have different choice of genre, let me share mine here which is also inspired by this woman I always love. hehehe The title is ... “Let Her Go” -Jan Lexter L. Cortes I spend a lot of time writing something, The things I want to say which to you means nothing. I don’t understand hurting someone loving you the most, And holding someone who leaves you lost. I thought something special we had, In love that we were once mad. But as this dream of mine breaks, This life is all what it takes. It has been very hard getting strong, Because I have been missing you since long. I was a fool not knowing your value when you were around, And when I realized, you were already there under the ground. I don’t know what to do with what I feel, I don’t know what to do if it does not heal. Every sweet moment of life it steals, But my heart has only love where it deals. I’ve been wanting you which I think is the hardest thing to forget, Loving you could never be a reason to regret. But losing you is the hardest thing to accept, Even with all the hurt I’ve felt, letting you go is the most painful yet.
