My top ten reasons why the Hobbit fails 10. The style it was filmed in made it look like a cheap play 9. Three movies for the hobbit ? Two at best but three is stretching the story far too much. 8.An elf falls in love with a dwarf and vice versa? Have you seen what dwarf women look like? Its like a panda falling in love with a centipede. 7. Gandalf while played spectacularly in the first film is acted poorly in these seeming week , indecisive , and purposeless. 6. What was Bilbos motivation for leaving in the first place? Dead set against leaving the whole time and when they finally leave he suddenly comes around? Poorly acted and horribly written! 5.how the hell can dwarves sneak away from elves? Wouldnt happen , couldnt happen , especially in Rivendell. 4. Wargs cant catch up to slow running dwarves and a hobbit? 3. The entire storm giant scene was so pointless and stupid it could only have been written by a simpering moron.And how about using different actors from the first three movies for the trolls, did you really think wed miss that Jackson? 2. Dwarves should look like dwarves, not Armenians who havent shaved in a week or so! 1. Make the movie because it needs making, like you did the first time. Dont slap something together to satisfy studio deadlines and cash in. This fiasco isnt nearly as bad as the assassination committed by George Lucas on the Star Wars franchise, but its in the same ballpark. I could speak for years on this betrayal by Jackson but I still have hope that someone will bring forth The Silmarillion in all its glory and show how actually following the story Tolkien wrote can make the greatest stories into the greatest films.
