NATURE OF INCIDENT: ASSAULT IRC NUMBER: 140195251 OFFICER: Ptl. R. Collins DATE: 9/17/2014 TIME: 1636 LOCATION: LOCKHART STREET PERSONS INVOLVED: Arrested - Travis Wehnke Lockhart St W-B INCIDENT DETAILS: Officers responded to a Domestic Disturbance at 86 Lockhart Street. Upon arrival officers observed a white male run down the side of 86 Lockhart Street. The victim stated that the male who ran to the rear of the residence entered the home and fled up to the attic. The female then informed Officers that her ex boyfriend kicked her in the vagina and shoved, punched and struck her about her body. She showed Officers bruising on her left thigh area. Officers identified the male as WEHNKE,Travis. WEHNKE was found to have a outstanding warrant of arrest out of Montour County Probation. A male in a open second floor window stated that WEHNKE was hiding in the attic. Officers entered the residence and found WEHNKE hiding in a second floor bedroom closet. Officers informed WEHNKE that he was under arrest and ordered him to show us his hands and come out of the closet. WEHNKE refused to comply with orders and had to be pulled from the closet. WEHNKE was pulled from the closet and rose to his feet assuming a fighting stance with a utility knife clipped to his pocket. At this point WEHNKE was ordered to get on the floor and put his hands behind his back. WEHNKE refused to comply and was informed that a TASER would be deployed in order to gain compliance. WEHNKE became enraged at this and appeared to be looking on the floor where Officers observed an orange handled ax within WEHNKES reach. At this point Officer Balchun deployed his Taser having positive results. WEHNKE was taken into custody. WEHNKE will be processed, charged and held for arraignment, additionally a warrant to commit and retain was issued by Montour County Probation and Parole. LTSO488
