NTC sends public representation to the CM over recognition issue - Morung Express - The Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has sent a Public Representation to the Chief Minister of Nagaland against the Rongmei tribe recognition in the State of Nagaland as one of the indigenous Naga tribe of Nagaland entitling them of all benefits as indigenous inhabitant tribe. It also resolved to “denounce” the July 23, 2012 Cabinet decision for recognition of “Rongmeis as one of the Naga tribes” entitling them all benefits of Scheduled tribe in the Sate as “anti people’s decision”.
