Much to my surprise no one wanted Victorian/marble topped pieces! Yesterday in a panic, I offered both bedroom sets to a dealer in town for 1500$, he was not interested. My last and only option was an auction company in Mississippi, specializing in Victorian furniture, his clients are mainly from New Orleans, sent photos and he called me late yesterday with the BEST news Ive had in 3 weeks, told me I could most likely get 4,000$ for the Rosewood bed set, and 1,500$ for the walnut, his percentage is the icing on the cake 20%! Around here consignment is 60-40. Hes having a truck come by in few weeks to pick up, June or July will be the auction.
