Nearly 1a.m. my phone jingles with a message notification.It’s you again, “Kaylee Marie.” I am aware that you’re just a person who is using a made up facebook for several reasons including it’s been the same profile picture since 2012. This time it’s to inform my that my baby is ugly, and more vicious critiques on my very existence (still mostly pertaining to me in high school hahaha. You obviously don’t know much about me anymore since I don’t think I qualify as a skanky goth wannabe these days.) It’s super awesome how you like to drop your little bombs and then block me before I can block you. However, considering a noticeable correlation, logical connection, and personal intuition, I’m pretty sure I’ve got you figured out. You are no longer a welcome part of my life for a reason including the fact that you can’t let things go and you like to punish others and feel yourself justified.The toxicity was overwhelming. I am sorry that bad things happened to you when you were a kid that may have hindered your ability to mature. But we’re in our mid twenties now and you’re behaving worse than the girls who tormented me in middle school. I am sorry that you want for my unhappiness. I guess you’ve kept this up for so long hoping either to cause me that or at least try to prove to yourself that I am an equally bad or hopefully worse of a person than you. Sorry to disappoint. I hope for your happiness. I hope you face whatever it is inside you that compels you to make such a fool of yourself. I hope you can reconnect with the parts of yourself that I was once drawn to and have a joyful, successful existence. I’m sure this will find you, and you obviously know who you are. All the best to you, but please don’t waste my time anymore. We both have our own lives to lead and I’m sure it’s not doing you any good being caught up on mine.
