Nebo Nugget @ Noonday “The Best Things” Good afternoon. Tuesday’s moment of meditation at midday comes from Matthew 1:21: “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name Jesus: for He shall save His people from their sin.” As we sprint to the tree on the morning after next to see whats under it, let us remember “The Best Things” aren’t things! The very best that life has to offer are people, beginning with the God-man, Jesus Christ. We are so much more blessed than we realize. God has given us a Savior, and in addition to that He’s given us immediate family plus grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., church family, friends, co-workers and neighbors galore; teachers, preachers, supervisors, and leaders; the list goes on and on! So you won’t find the “The Best Things” under the tree, but if you look closely you probably will find “The Best Things” standing around the tree with you!
