Need foster for Zoe rescued from NYCACC, needs a foster or adopter!! 1yr old female pit mix apply at pmarinc.org A volunteer writes: Zoe was found as a stray with her companion (or possibly relative) Lino. Zoe is the shyer, more reserved half of the duo - perhaps she was the protector and is accustomed to being wary of people, or she may just be distraught to find herself in a care center environment. I have not seen Zoe show any malice...she is very quiet and often curled up in her cage. She comes to the front of her cage when its time to go out and seems to take comfort in a familiar face. She takes treats gently and likes to be pet on her chest and behind the ears. She walks well, but cautiously, on leash and it takes a bit of time for her tail to come untucked. Zoe perks up at the sight of other dogs and seems to be friendly with them. She seems to have some house training and sits on command perfectly. She is VERY cute and her looks are very hound-like. Im sure in a warm, loving home sweet Zoe will blossom and be a wonderful, loyal companion
