New Job Senior Infrastructure Technician & BIM Coordinator - SHEDGE Industry: Engineering Job Type: Permanent Location: Cardiff, Wales Senior Infrastructure Technician & BIM Coordinator Cardiff Permanent Working within the Infrastructure Team, part of our clients Transportation Division, we are seeking to attract a career minded and technically advanced Senior Infrastructure Technician / BIM Coordinator to join the existing high calibre team. To be considered for a role we are seeking candidates with the following credentials: Academic Qualifications: HNC/HND in Civil Engineering is essential whilst Tech Eng or I Eng in Civil Engineering would be desirable. Essential Experience: Infrastructure Design experience on property related projects Experience of rail sector civil engineering works would be an advantage Experience of highways and drainage design for residential, commercial and industrial projects at both feasibility and detailed design stage Experience of preparation of specifications and tender documents Experience of preparation of reports and strategy documents to support pre-planning submissions and support of post planning conditions. Expert knowledge and application of BIM software eg Civils 3d, Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and abroad when required Experience of working in a contractor led D&B environment would also desirable This is a key role within the Infrastructure Design team, providing expert technical advice and leading by example through the successful delivery of technically challenging infrastructure designs. You will be accountable for taking a leading role in the delivery of designs to meet the clients requirements and adoptable standards whilst taking responsibility for technical output. You will lead / support the management of projects including resource allocation, managing subcontractors, quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications You will work in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design, providing both leadership and technical advice to project team members on the use and application of BIM packages including Autocad Civils 3d and WinDes.
