New Job Software Developer Java Script/PHP - BBBH1174 Industry: IT Job Type: Contract Location: West London, England Salary: £350.00 - £400.00 per day Web Developer Youll be involved in building and delivering a wide range of pages and reusable modules, so youll need to be familiar with the key issues around making web pages responsive, and how to implement adaptive layouts in semantic HTML5 and CSS3. Familiarity with MVC frameworks is a definite plus. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team working on some of the highest-profile brands. Responsible for building well designed object-orientated web applications using PHP and JavaScript. Semantic and accessible HTML5, CSS3. Essential Strong mark-up and CSS skills - HTML5 / CSS3 Object Oriented PHP5, and at least one framework such as Zend Strong JavaScript development skills - understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript, Closures and working with libraries such as JQuery and Require.js. Good communication and problem solving skills. Version control systems (Subversion and/or Git) Knowledge of usability, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility issues Desirable Advanced experience with Zend Framework and PHPUnit. Experience using Javascript test frameworks (e.g. Jasmine, Mocha, QUnit). Knowledge and/or experience of Test Driven Development (TDD), Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), refactoring and pair programming. Experience working with Ruby and NodeJS.
