New Years Eve: as I settle down for a quiet evening in with my wife (well, she can’t exactly go clubbing it with a leg/ankle in plaster!) I’m reflecting on the fact that it’s been (up until Dec 12th, when her accident happened) an amazing year for me, both artistically and in terms of the fun I’m having these days in my “work” (c’mon , tho sometimes exhausting, it’s not real work, is it!?)…huge thanks to everyone who visits this page, especially those who comment, “like”, come to gigs, promote them, put on housegigs, buy albums and generally make this cottage industry a viable proposition, and hopefully, one I can continue doing for a long while (well, as long as I still keep enjoying it!). Special thanks to all who’ve sent messages/comments re my wife’s predicament…it’s going to be an “interesting” start to 2015 (6 weeks in plaster, but more worrying for her, 6 weeks of my cooking!!), but these things happen, and, hey, as my True Believer song says “What doesn’t kill you makes you strong”…so Happy New Year to you all!
