New Year’s Resolutions that Writers Should NOT Make - Every year I sit with pen and paper as I watch the ball drop in Times Square, and I create a list of goals I hope to achieve in the New Year. It’s a list filled with the usual: eat healthier, spend less, and write better. The first two goals are fairly easy (somewhat). I simply skip the aisle with the pints of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream at the grocery store, which allows me to save a few dollars and a belt loop. The third goal of writing better is a more daunting task, though.
