News24 reported that Kelly Khumalo was chased at her boyfriend late Senzo Meyiwas bereave gathering in Umlazi, Durban by his father Tata Sam Meyiwa apparently, because she was not welcomed there. My issue is if a deceased person was in love with the surviving partner (Kelly)irrespective whether infidelity relationship or not that is not their business; fact is they were dating meaning they loved one another, the fact that Senzo was married to his wife whom he cheated when enganged in extra marital affairs with a concubine like Kelly it was Senzos wish and choice in other words he was not forced to fall in love with Kelly Khumalo. Why there is always such tendency in African culture whereby deceased family would dictate after a deceased passed on to always interdicting surviving partner if she was not in their liking as if she was the one responsible for the lates death. One of Wamboes proverbs is a saying onkadhindjuhwa ihayi iigi meaning a female dont initiate love relationship, but a man who should proposed a woman for love-relatioship why blaming an innocent woman who was simply courted to fall in love, now after ones death family wants to interdict and blamed a partner. I think this is unfair for a family to do that taking into account that they even had a child togather, Africans lets come out of age and be civilised, unless there is evidence that Kelly Khumalo contributed to Senzos detah which must be proven with prima facie evidence by the police and not just innuendos.
