Newspaper Pioneer News Date Thursday, August 21, 1913 Headline Pioneer News Text During the last winter, Will Camp located three bee trees in Aaron Wangermans timber near Clarence Tarvins. Having persuaded Lair Harper to assist them in capturing the bees and the honey, Saturday, Aug 15, was selected as the day of fortune. A number of volunteers gladly joined the party, among them being Clinton and White Harper, Herman Tarvin, Elisha Tarvin, and wife and daughters, Misses Margaret and Lucy Harper and Mrs. Wangerman and children. In the beginning the working party was smaller than the onlookers, but this was reversed by afternoon, as the second tree was well filled with fresh honey and the third had a space of about ten or twelve inches in diameter and four feet long filled with honey which caused the undertaking to be worth the while.
