Next-Gen dominate the 4th round of the LGM series. Teddy Wilson - TopicsExpress

Next-Gen dominate the 4th round of the LGM series. Teddy Wilson delivered with his first national win and a complete clean sweep at GYG, 1st in qauli, 2 heat wins, pole position, fastest lap and the Final win for the Bear, such a dominate performance just 2 weeks before the super1 round puts the bear in a great position to stake his claim for the british championship. Herbie Grout crossed the line 2nd just behind Teddy to make a nextgen 1-2 over the line, Herbie had a strong day with a 2nd and 4th in his heats lining up on p4 for the final this was also his with his strongest national showing. Also showing extremely strongly and carrying on his fine form was a very unlucky Kiern Jewiss, 2nd in his qualifing group and a 2nd in his first heat followed by a 5th in his 2nd heat after twice being on the grass Kiern lined up p5 for the final making 3 next-gen karts in the top 5. Unfortunately Kiern got span round on the first lap and had to come from 30th and last, with great determination he got back up to 13th, a great drive. Lucas Nannetti had his best Saturday to date showing great pace to be one of the fastest drivers he had a disappointing Sunday and will look to bounce back at super1. Evan Smillie put in a great performance to qualify 20th overall, he had bad luck in one heat tho putting him in the B final. A great performance in the B sore him easily qualify in 2nd position and he looked all set for a strong A final. Extremely harshly he was judged to have jumped the start after another competitor had complained about it after the race, there driver could only finish 5th after not having the pace to make it through so would no qualify, not the way we like to do it. Tom Canning appeared only for sunday but this didnt stop him leading the whole honda A final and was just pipped to the line by another driver. A great performance from Tom againist a strong super1 grid, Tom will make the podium again this weekend at Super1. Ever improving Klaas Kooiker showed great speed and really impressed the team he stayed with the lead group for majority of the A final but dropped off due to a problem towards the end and finished a dissapointed 6th. Never the less a great performance from Klaas!! Well done boys!!!!!
