NjonjoMue In 1952, the colonial government rounded up Kikuyu, Embu and Meru youth and confined them in concentration camps under the guise of fighting Mau Mau terrorism. Many were tortured and denied their basic human rights. The collective punishment of Somalis and their confinement to Kasarani stadium today in the name of fighting terrorism is no different from what the colonial government did in 1952. It was wrong then and it is wrong now.
