No matter what your views are, get out there today and vote. People fought and died for the right for you to freely express your voice and if you dont use that right, you are part of the problem with our representative democracy. If anything bothers me most, it is that it is pretty shameful how little percentage of our voting capable population actually votes. And if we all continue the cycle of not voting cause we dont care or think it doesnt matter then you have no one to blame but yourself for not doing your part. I understand completely the frustrations with feeling like politics is just like religion and a sure fire way to start arguments and disagreements but it is very important to voice yourself and find your own ideology in what matters to you. We cant just continue to ignore pressing issues, in the end we all suffer from ignorance or avoidance. Politics aside, you and your beliefs matter however nuanced or party line they may be, so voice them on behalf on where you think this country should be headed as best as you can, no one is perfect.
