No need to change our tune weve hummed over the last two days. Models have been very consistent on what would unfold. From the beginning Ive said the warm air will win out in the storm, and the latest information has not changed! *Rain will begin in southern NJ and DE between 6 and 8pm. *Snow will begin in northern DE, Central NJ as well as the greater Philly area between 8pm and 10pm *Finally Snow between 10pm and Midnight it starts in far northern areas Most of the heaviest precip will fall while we are asleep. If you live in and around Philadelphia and all points south, you may wake up and see a bare ground as the rain washes away most of the snow that falls at the beginning. Far northwest and the Lehigh Valley cold air does linger long enough to supply a few inches of snow and even some ice overnight to make traveling a bit tricky in the morning. If you have plans Saturday, the heaviest of the storm will be gone by 8am and most of the day we will just see light rain and snow showers.
