Not only is this the location I got to see Electric Light Orchestra when they were somewhat a young and lively band and right in the middle of changing from a progressive rock band into the more pop hit/ disco era ELO. It was a very interesting set list and great show on a beautiful night as the sun began to set behind them in 1975. This was also the main place for dignitaries to assemble and countries to have their special celebration day at Expo 67. This is the place that I posted a petition on my Facebook page a month or so back to reconstruct Place Des Nations to it’s former world greeting importance as it is just an ignored ruin eyesore now. I WILL be there hopefully on July 1st Canada day 2017 and hope to celebrate right there on Expo’s 50th birthday, Canada’s 150th birthday and Montreal’s 375th birthday. See ya there. Cheers!.
