Not sure why this hasnt been sent on a Deerfield blast alert, at least I havent received one, but there have been 2 robberies in Deerfield in the last 2 weeks. These have both been in the middle of the day!! The first one was on my street, Hollywell. A Hispanic woman came to the door of a resident and rang bell, that home had a child that happened to be home that day and that came to the door, it startled the woman and she said she had the wrong house. She then went to the house across the street and did the same thing, but when no one came to door, she pulled her car to the back of the driveway and broke through a window, where she stole jewelry and other items. Seal was called and later constable when they realized what items had been taken. The second was last week on Bradstone, and also in the middle of the day, I saw the constable there on my lunch break as I was headed home around noon. Same type of situation. The owner in that case was only gone from house for about 30 to 40 minutes. These idiots are lurking around Deerfield and watching the who comes and goes and finding our when no one is home. Please stay vigilant about watching out for strange cars and people during the day in our community. Also, as a side note, SEAL and the constables both seemed upset that the other one was called in the first incident and both questioned why the other one was called, thought that was interesting.
