Not that long ago, it was fashionable to argue that Kashmiri youth indulge in stone pelting because they are unemployed, uneducated, drug addicts, paid pelters; etc. Now the latest argument is that the educated Kashmiri youth going for extreme step is a concern. These are the argument from the state. Unfortunately, another aspect is the debate whether torture motivates youth or is it the religious radicalization? The bottom line is that Kashmiris---educated as well as unlettered; young and old; men and women--- have raised their voice for their genuine rights and against the injustices in different available forms and manifestations. They will continue doing so in various forms. That is it.
