Noted historian and author Professor Louis P. Masur of Rutgers University will help Camden County College mark the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation by reviewing how President Abraham Lincoln came to issue and defend the instrumental document with the presentation “Lincoln and Emancipation” TONIGHT at 7 p.m. This lecture is planned by the Camden County College Library in support of the traveling exhibit “Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War,” which it is displaying on the Blackwood Campus through Dec. 13. The exhibit was organized by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office and made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
