“O Ali, your example in my nation is like the example of Qul Huwallahu Ahad. Whoever recites it once is as if he has recited one-third of the Qur’an. Whoever recites it twice is as if he has recited two-thirds of the Qur’an. And whoever recites it thrice is as if he has recited the entire Qur’an. Similarly, whoever loves you with his tongue has completed one-third of his faith. Whoever loves you with his tongue and his heart has completed two-thirds of his faith. And whoever loves you with his tongue and his heart as well as assists you with his hands has completed his entire faith. O Ali, I swear by the One who sent me with the truth! If the inhabitants of the earth loved you the way the inhabitants of the heavens love you, not a single person would be punished by the fire.” The Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his progeny) (As-Saduq: Al-Amali, page 21)
