OAU: I will Speak like the gods! *Ramon, IBK, OLORI, Gallarians... Movie Stars. Today I shook with absolute displeasure with happenings in OAU particularly SUB when the parliamentary sitting was held. Hon Speaker Ramon, I saluate ur courage for putting the Security of your parliamentary into consideration as the sitting held today but I wont turn a blind eye to the fact that tradition or let me be direct by saying Convention were mocked today. Convention is a way of behaving which is accepted by most people in a particular society...this is a custom which belongs to the past I must reiterate! But today, You laid a new Precedent which would be in the history of the Union...Where You right or Wrong? I wont pick a position. I looked inward,flashed back to sittings and I wont dispute that the floor of sitting has always been a Fuji House of Commotion. A place where the Gallarian feel is their abode because it is Awo, the Political Headquarters of OAU and they can do and Undo! But it could actually have also held in Awo Hall to an extent since Security Apparatus were fully on ground! Many argue that there was a period in the history of the Union when Union Speakers have been bitten...Really ridiculous because in a community where we are civilized individuals I dont buy an idea of such rascality. Madam Olori, a Virtuous lady who assumed the role of Winnie! I was impressed at first because am of the opinion that as the mother of the house, You should be one we run to when we are aggrieved! To an extent you have lived to expectation but also play a role of a woman who leaves his child in the cold projecting a Comical role from my own interpretation. Today I witnessed a You, who can pick Up a Microphone and in OAU slang Shanaa then Shiver when it comes to standing Tall that You gave such resolution! You only act with your Tongue and not Your Heart, You can Quote me! To my ever Tatan Gallarians...Awoites, Ife Students who can stand in times of Rain, Sun, Thunder and Lightening! You stood Gallantly but eventually ridiculed what You stood against at SUB today. YOU molested, YOU injured and destroyed properties because YOU were bitter...Most of YOU gallarians though were misinformed, YOU failed to recycle most informations YOU got before YOU vented anger in a Sango fashion.Won fe ko owo je and next thing and join the array of the Uncivilised. It is very saddening that we just always put ShekeSheke in our hands attimes because we believe its Violence that can solve issues. I shock my head when students could spit-out of their mouth that Proscription of the Union is their Gains. The Man O War...Today, I understood what tolerance implies! In the midst of Oppression from Students who hauled Sachet water at You...You stood your Grounds, upheld your training but I wont fail to question the bringing of a Staff to the Ground!
