OFFICIAL RELEASE FOR PRESS: FEMEN QUEBEC ACTION IN CANADA IN SUPPORT OF EUROMAIDAN We support every single person who is standing right now at the Independance and the European Squares in Kiev and all the other cities in Ukraine. We believe that time has come for Ukrainian Nation to Rise Up and Shine. We believe that for an honest progression and a bright future for this country, the President Viktor Yanukovytch must sign the EU association agreement. We ask him not to kill the hopes of a nation and listen to his citizens. We encourage people in Ukraine to go on with the Orange Revolution and achieve their goals and aspirations for Democracy and Freedom. We want them to overcome the dictatorship of fear and to liberate themselves from the chains of degrading past. We say that mass demonstrations have impact! We believe that people are the source of power! We want voices of Ukraine to be heard and respected! Ukrainian citizens ask for real change, they need real democracy, the aspire for a dignified life without corruption, lawlessness and kleptocracy. This is a revolution of young educated people, born after the collapse of the Soviet Union, who are educated but have no future because of Yanukovich politics. Millions of ukrainians emigrated, millions live in very poor conditions, millions of them struggle every single day. This revolution is not only about changing all the political parties, but actually about changing the whole country and its mentality. Quebec experienced their own student strike during spring 2012 and can easily understand the state of mind of those who are standing right now in the streets of Ukraine. We ask people to care and to support Ukrainian Nation in Quebec, Canada and all over the world. « When injustice becomes a law, resistance is a duty! » Hold on Ukraine!
