OK my next question for Brusnwick heads to try and arrange carpooling or a convoy!! Who is able to leave friday and who would need to leave friday night or Saturday? I think we should try to all carpool as much as possible as half the weekend will be driving so we need to make that the fun part!! (We will also divide petrol out equally for the leg of the journey you are in the car). My thought process is as follows: A car (or two) leave Sydney on friday at around noon. Pick up from central station for Jessica Allison, Catherine Searson and Heather Pinning (if coming) (unless Gordon is just as easy for you to get to?), then pick up Pip Stanley, Shauna Winchester, Emily Butcher (if coming), Jacqui Osborne , Paul Dadd, Jen McMahon Wietske Bruinsma (if she can come) in gordon or the hornsby area around 2pm? Travel via Newcastle to collect Alice Margaret, Kate Elizabeth, Amy Scanlan, Kathryn Henry (if you can come). Complete friday by driving to Port Macquarie- Crash at Erica Gleeson (and Luke Gleeson) and/or Natalie Schmitzers houses in port for friday night. Collect Sarah Anderson, Natalie and Erica and continue drive leaving early saturday morning. Along the route sat we will go via Coffs harbour area and collect Monica Stonebridge, Melanie Chaffey (if she can come) and Caitlyn Knox. Hopefully get to Brunswick early Sat afternoon- Jen, Paul and Luke to leave us and go to Byron. We will start service, visit the beach. Sunday we will have the full day for service and exploring the area and the community. Monday morning we will be rejoined by Jen, paul and Luke (note ladies, if your partner wants to do the road trip but not hang out at guide camp they can go with these guys and stay at a local family farm over the weekend and just enjoy the drive with us, ha ha!) and leave early and do the trip in reverse, minus the stopping overnight in Port Macquarie. Can you comment below 1) if this sounds ok. 2) if you want to/ can drive (I wrote my car off yesterday so will need at least one other sydney driver as a back up until i get a new car!) 3) if you can leave friday from the approximate time that is given here or if you would need to leave friday night or saturday- Im sure not everyone will have friday off but thats the more pleasant option of stopping overnight, once we see who can leave at what time we will establish how many cars will leave where at what time! If everyone CAN leave around the same times we can potentially arrange a bus (Thanks Jessica!) but will need to know if its worth it number wise to do that or better having separate cars for flexibility. ANYONE NOT ON THIS LIST? Sorry! Let me know !!
