OLDBOY = 7/10 A remake of the original Japanese version, but nevertheless a very thought provoking film that is well made. A man is imprisoned for 20 years without every knowing why, when he is finally released he tries to find out why he was targeted and attempts to exact revenge. The middle section is slightly predictable and the plot not so great when we discover the reasoning behind the imprisonment. Also the final revelation I had already worked out so the shock factor was zero sadly, but this is deffo worth watching and the acting is first class although the bad guy was badly casted. Starring Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Sharlto Copley, Pom Klementieff.
