Oftentimes, my friends, family, and even my friends families will ask me, Casey, why dont you sing for us? or Caseys the musical one, will you sing for our cousins uncles sisters pregnant cat? or my personal favorite, Casey, why dont you do karaoke?! to which I will generally pretend that I am sick and/or cry on the spot because awkward public singing holds a very special place in my heart of things I loathe almost more than mayonnaise and the idea of a Leopard Gecko regenerating three tails at once. I am very awkward as a being, lets not accentuate it, you know? But the time has come, it happens rarely, but since I have been in Tar Heel Voices, public and/or impromptu singing has kind of become a thing in my everyday life.
