Oh my word. On my high horse about actors not getting paid. Shadows Haunted Attraction is looking for haunt actors with improv and interactive skills The cost for guests to this attraction is $20 per. It is in a prime location near Southcenter. Im sure they will have a crapload of guests each night. So far, so good, but . . . . they are NOT paying their actors. I can find no information on their website that this 501c3 nonprofit -or that this is a fundraiser supporting a specific organization. Sigh . . . actors. Please, BELIEVE ME you are worth something. If we all stopped working for free then maybe businesses like this would start paying. Any friends in bands that play for free (w/o it being for a cause you believe in) Im talking to you, too. You are valuable. Your skill is valuable. The time you spend honing your craft is valuable and irreplaceable. You deserve money for your time if you arent sharing your skills to support a cause you believe in.
