Ok NFL fans, update of some of the rule changes. First, goal post is going to be raised from 30 feet to 35 feet (New England wanted this rule, wander why). Second, loose ball will be able to be reviewed with instant replay (San Francisco wanted the rule). Taunting and Sportsmanship will be looked at with a close eye by everyone to get the integrity back. Ok, I am fine with that observation with 34 Unsportsmanlike in 2013. Here is the kicker that everyone will see. Starting with two preseason weeks, they are going to look at extra points. Proposed was the 25 yard line. They will take the extra point and make the line of scrimmage the 20 yard line, not the 2 yard line. So, instead of a gimme extra point of 19 yards (2 yard line + 7 yards for the kick + endzone of 10 yards), it will now be a 37 yard extra point (20 yard line + 7 yards + endzone of 10 yards). So, the two questions I have--1. Where is the line of scrimmage for a 2 point conversion? and 2. Was this such a big deal of too many extra points being scored? I would like to hear some feedback from other football nuts.
