Ok, if you are tender hearted or prone to eye sweating, get your tissues. My baby girl has a heart of pure gold. Keeping this story short, Lilli is now 3 and will be 4 in just a couple weeks. Though she has always been fascinated by Christmas cards, Christmas decorations, and the many customs and traditions associated with Christmas, particularly the presents. It appears this year she has cultivated her appreciation and her understanding of the Christmas spirit. Today, Lilli approached me, beaming through those bright, brown eyes; with that blushing and big, beautiful smile. Now, as she drew near she shyly pushed out the phrase, Daddy? I, ....I have something for you. . Oh my sweet baby girl then presented me with this beautiful and wonderful, tiny little Christmas card. In the pictures Ive posted, you can see, by comparison, just how tiny this cute little card really is. And YOU may not readily see it, but that is the CORRECT SPELLING of her nickname (where Lilli is short for Lillian). She even included many additional markings, which are indicative of a sweet holiday narrative you might hide in your highest, holiday Hallmark. In the final picture, you can see where the proudest papa on the planet placed this perfect and precious symbol of the season. On my desk at work for all my peers to see; but you can bet its going on the tree as Christmas draws near. Truly, I wish that everyone could, if for only a moment once in your life; feel what I feel each time I look up at that beautiful little card.
