Ok so lord knows Im not made of money and we are pretty tight on spending but I just had a conversation with my kids about how I really do enjoy nice things. Not too high dollar but I will pay a reasonable price on brands that are good when it come to certain things. However when I do, I treasure it and treat it like a baby. Had the same conversation with a customer today. I buy tons and tons of things off brand or generic but some things are not worth skimping on or straying from. Perfect example: I just painted my nails with new polish someone suggested I should try because it is supposed to last longer. While I love the color and I have no idea yet how long it will last, its not OPI. my experience applying the polish just wasnt the same. It was thick, streaky, and this may sound strange but the bristles on the applicator brush just dont fan out as nicely is the OPI brush. Just sayin. I feel this way about paint I buy for my house too. And jeans, and makeup, haircare, skincare, and over the counter medication and of course my daily health shakes. ;0) Is anyone else the same way? What are some things you will not skimp on?
