Okay, I admit when I first got my Gelli plate, it was sooo fun and easy to make prints, that I didnt think of it as real art. So I never dedicated real studio space to it. I would just pull out the plate and play wherever I was--my desk, the dining room table, the kitchen counter. But taking Joannas class, I have realized what a mainstay the Gelli plate (with acrylic paints and texture tools) can be for me. So today, with the help of a good friend, I got a service cart to turn into my official Gelli Art Cart. It can roll wherever I go, and I can work straight from the cart.
