Okay, Vickie Hughes. You got me. I thought I had dodged this bullet but I see your clip had multiple rounds! Lol - So here goes. My # was 19 and I dreaded the thought of doing this, but now I think I need a few more slots. Lol Oh, and Im supposed to tell yall to like or comment on this post to get a number from me (blah, blah, blah). Thats the fine print I missed when she got me. Happy Friday! :-) 1. I was born and raised on the Southside of town in Fort Worth (Funkytown), Texas 2. I currently live in Arlington, which is right next door to where I was raised. 3. I am the oldest of four kids - (one brother, two sisters). 4. All my Mommas kids are the only ones in the ENTIRE immediate family with unique names like ours (lol). All her siblings kids have names like Brenda, Monica, William and Brian, etc. So yeah, thanks Momma! lol :-) 5. My middle name is Timeko. 6. I have a nickname that I still affectionately answer to (to) this day. 7. I miss my daddy and still get choked up sometimes when I think about how much of a cool and funny cat he was. He passed away seven years ago in January. 8. I also miss my grandmother dearly. She taught me so much and modeled so much strength. She passed away in 1998 but it still feels like yesterday some days. 9. I have five biological kids all across the age spectrum: 23, 18, 2, 2 (twins), and 1. I also have three bonus kids from my husbands previous marriage (2 boys and 1 girl). 10. I had my first child, a son, three days before my sixteenth birthday. But dont sleep! I still graduated in the top 3% of my class and went on to college. :-) 11. My favorite movie is Love Jones and my favorite scene is Larenz Tates recital of Brother to the Night. Right now Im just the blues in your left thigh trying to become the funk in your right. Is that alright? 12. Ive run three half marathons and one 10K race in the last 5.5 years, but havent done anything since the birth of my twins. Im about to start training heavy to prepare for upcoming 2014 races. 13. I was a tomboy growing up, putting up planks on bricks in the backyard and popping wheelies, mid-air, with my brother on our bikes to see who could get the highest off the ground. 14. I love dressing up and being dainty, but Im just as comfortable in a t-shirt, sweats and ball cap. 15. All my life I had to write. lol...writing is like breathing to me. If I couldnt do it, I really would cease to be me. 16. Ive written one full novel and am almost finished with two others, all will be published next year. I dabble in poetry but really dont indulge unless Im feeling a certain type of way about an issue. 17. I love listening to country music on occasion, a trait I shared with my daddy. 18. I plan to work really hard in the next several years to buy an RV and travel the world with my family. Theres just absolutely too much of Gods beauty out there, to be seen, not to do it. 19. I will celebrate my milestone birthday a day before Valentines Day 2014 and Im really looking forward to entering a new decade. Cause it just keeps on getting better!
