Okay people, here is the deal. I have studied the US Constitution for some time and I have tried to see what solutions can be made for this situation with our Congress. Article I says that Congress has the duty to fund the US Government. This has not come to pass. Under Article II, Section 5, our President has the duty to see that the law (The Constitution) is faithfully executed. The Take Care Clause should never be enforced unless absolutely necessary. I went back in history and during a tax rebellion, President George Washington said, It is my duty to see the Laws executed: to permit them to be trampled upon with impunity would be repugnant to that duty. Under the system of checks and balances, our President will have no choice but to see that our bills are paid and that our obligations are met, which means that he could pass an emergency budget and debt ceiling increase until Congress passes a resolution to do the very same. Take this as you will, but the Constitution of the United States of America is the law of the land, and it must be executed regardless of disagreement or malice.
