On behalf of Mayor Joe Jerkins and the City Council, the Public - TopicsExpress

On behalf of Mayor Joe Jerkins and the City Council, the Public Works Department would like to thank you all for your support as our staff worked many hours to help make our roads passable by spreading sand and salt. There are still roads around the City that are passable but not in good shape. Again, if you do not need to be out tonight please remain home. All City operations will return to a normal schedule tomorrow. We will continue to have crews monitoring the roads and spreading sand and salt mix as needed. We would also like to thank our Public Safety staff (Police, E-911, and Fire and Emergency Services) for all they do to make our City a safe place to work, live, and play. If you have pictures from the recent snowfall event and are willing to share, please send them to [email protected] and we will post them in our photo gallery on our website. In the subject line, please include Snow 2014 and in your e-mail include your full name so we can give proper credit along with the location of the picture. We will accept pictures of your kids playing in the snow, perhaps you built a snowman, or that rather unique snow picture. By sending your picture(s), we reserve the right to use them in future City publications.
