On this Veteran’s Day, let’s be thankful for the men and women - TopicsExpress

On this Veteran’s Day, let’s be thankful for the men and women who put their lives on the line every day in service to America. Most of them are nameless and faceless to us. We know they are out there on the battle lines, but we do not know who they are. But, there is one who has become nearly a household name for many Americans and the movie soon to be released about his life gives us insight to what he and all the others who have served, as well as those who still do. There is a danger out there that most of us could never imagine and Chris Kyle, known as America’s most lethal sniper with 160 confirmed kills out of a probable 255 kills, encountered it and was the trigger man who was so deadly during his tours in Iraq that he was dubbed ‘the devil of Ramadi’ by insurgents and a bounty of $21,000 was put on his head. A movie about Chris Kyle directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper, will be released on Christmas Day 2014. Until then, watch this incredibly intense trailer of American Sniper and remember those who put their lives in harm’s way so that we may be safe.
