Once i got oden home he wouldnt get out of the truck because the neighborhood dogs were around..i shewed them off and coaxed him out..i wasnt about to try to pick him up again because he almost nailed me in the face getting him in after the vet visit..once inside he layed on athenas bed and didnt move an inch..he wouldnt drink and didnt want chicken or Turkey or dog food but he wanted pizza!! So i sat with my boodgey woodgey boy and tore it up and dunked it in water..i dont think he couldd rink because of the stitches inside his mouth..he had as good of a night for the ordeal he had..the vet didnt give him any pain meds and with the week i had i was scatter brained and didnt ask but hes ok thank god and the three angels that helped me help him
