One of my main inspirations, most influential, strongest and successful women I know, who I was extremely lucky to meet and talk to in person, Sara Seager; words cannot describe my respect and admiration. The funny thing is, if an alien civilization in our Galaxy is looking at us via a sophisticated space telescope of the kind we are trying to build, all they will see of our Earth is a point of light, a pale blue dot. It’s hard for me to handle my own personal tragedy against the vastness of the Universe. For now all I can do is remind all of us that life can change in the blink of an eye, and to hold on to the sense of clarity about what really matters. - Sara Seager
