One of our StartPage users noted a problem with our toolbar and Google Chrome. This problem is based on recent security changes to Google’s Chrome browser. The changes affect all third-party extensions and add-ons, not just ours. There is now a slightly clunkier process, documented on our web site, to install our toolbar directly from our web page (https://startpage/eng/download-startpage-toolbar.html) - you can’t simply download and double-click it. As an alternative for people who are comfortable with Google, the toolbars are being added to the Chrome Web Store, so you can install directly from there as well. The Ixquick toolbar is already live, well add the StartPage one in a bit.
