One of the harshest realities of life is that of your passions - TopicsExpress

One of the harshest realities of life is that of your passions losing importance in your day to day. Some things, some very important things have remained and those fires remain fueled. As you become tired of losing every battle, there comes a change in your approach to those passions. Sometimes the best way to drive your points home in any of these issues that fundamentally make up who you are, is to live those opinions and be the example. So perhaps, they are not lost, but merely evolving and waiting for the right moment to explode. Those passions, I know I still care for them, and I know others do as well, but still there seems to be something of a loss in all the energy spent. Maybe just maybe, Ive grown either indifferent, or lazy, which are terrible crimes in themselves. Perhaps I have surrendered to the cage we have all been born into. Theres still a way out, but we cannot stop the fight for those passions, no matter what they are. My example: I used to be so deeply involved in the counterculture. I have more notebooks with the Anarchist A emblazoned on the cover than I have pairs of socks. What happened?
