One of the mistakes people make when dieting is thinking they have to eat less FOOD. Weight loss occurs when you begin to burn more calories than you are consuming. There is no relationship between weight loss & the volume of food youre consuming. If you want to lose weight, you need to eat fewer CALORIES. So - be smart when it comes to your food choices. If youre hungry or feel the need to eat a larger meal, opt for foods that are less calorie dense. On the other end of the spectrum, should you feel like choosing foods that are more calorie dense from time to time, such as cake - you can! Provided of course, youre hitting your macros, meeting fibre requirements & eating your recommended serves of fruit & veg, there should be no limitations placed on the foods youre eating. Educate yourself on the nutritional content of the foods youre consuming. The notion that there are magical foods which assist with weight loss is simply absurd.
