One time when I was in elementary school, my mom was in New York on business - I talked to her on the phone that morning and was so upset that she couldnt make it to something later on that evening that she had promised shed be at. My mom got on a plane….missed her work meeting…and showed up! Literally got on a plane to keep a promise. I never forgot it. Likewise, At the Iowa Goldstar this year my dad drove all night to see watch me show Sunny for the first time - in a ONE horse class(I won thankfully lol). But he wanted to be there to support me. But lifes not the breath you take, the breathing in and out That gets you through the day, aint what its all about You just might miss the point trying to win the race Lifes not the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away. I adore this song - the first verse makes me want to bawl my eyes out because I know that feeling- and it reminds me so much of my Mom & Dad. Life is SO SHORT, we are here for such a short time and Im so blessed to have parents like them who taught me that you can make life WHATEVER you want it to be.
