One word oxymoron bittersweet is how im feeling now that ed teal has taken delivery of the bike we developed for him. Its a neat ride: hand-powered front wheel, and leg-powered rear wheel. He went off-road for the first time under his own power two weeks ago, so hes getting closer to his goal of hunting/fishing with some autonomy. I feel about my bikes the way some people feel about their pets. I know its stupid, but while im stoked knowing hell ride more often with the trike at his home, I miss it being here. Eds got cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair most of the time: Ed also has a kick-ass adventurous attitude and runs toward shedding a little blood in the pursuit of fun. My kind of people. Im not a pro or particularly good at developing bikes/trikes for special needs cyclists, but I am hoping someone will read this and contact me and let try to get them in the conquering way. No charge for my time. I have quite a few salvaged bike parts to use. You will receive lifetime awesomeness status if you donate old bikes ( ESPECIALLY grateful for trike axles/assemblies.).
