Opal Brownin-Sugar My supervisor is a middle aged black woman, and since I have been wearing my natural hair in different styles, I notice that she has started wearing twist outs on her PERMED hair. I dont mean to be rude, but her hair looks really bad. It honestly looks like a disheveled mess. Literally. People have made comments that her hair looks uncombed (it honestly does). I also wear twist outs but mine are actual twists that I style in a curly/twisty fro. I think she needs help with her twists but I dont know how to go about telling her, or if I should say anything at all. It looks really bad, and co-workers have even made comments to me saying that theyre glad my hair doesnt look like that. I just remain polite and dont engage in those types of convos b/c I dont want to get involved in office negativity. Whats a girl to do?
