Our Victorian (prudish) sense of aestheticism often makes us believe that music is only a sophisticated form of cultural artefact which is used to preach love, romance, passion, compassion, and humanity. We do not recognize that inherently music is a language of protest and revolt as well. Perhaps, that is the reason this song creates controversy in Bangladesh. I would rather thank the singer for providing voices to millions Bangladeshis through this song!!!!!!!!!! Hats off to her…………..
