Our dear Sonjia has had quite a tough year. She came to us about 11 months ago from the Stockton Shelter with her leg badly broken at the elbow joint and positive for heartworm. It was initially thought that she would lose her leg but thanks to the amazing orthopedic surgeon we use her leg was repaired and as of today she is heartworm NEGATIVE! Not only that but shes found herself a forever and ever mom with her amazing foster Ruth Robeson! Congratulations Sonjia aka Squirt and Ruth!
