Our grandparents were sent there - men and women, healthy and sick, elderly and young - without court and jury. By the millions. And millions died. From exhaustion, from hunger, from beatings and being shot. You in Western Europe and US, imagine being so hungry You cant move, or imagine YOUR babys head being smashed for the fun of it.... The West knew... and did nothing. If You think Russia has changed, good luck. The Kremlin has produced no legal documents that recognize state terror as a crime. There was one press conference, where an Estonian journalist asked Putin (during 1st term), when will Russia condemn those crimes, to which Putin barked back, angrily: We already said were sorry once, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT?! And all we want is those horrors to never happen again. Never.
